Step 9 : Day 8 : Shanghai

Step 9 : Day 8 : Shanghai

The second last day of the whole Shanghai trip. Heart felt a little "heavy" to leave tomorrow.
Morning, we visited the Bao Shu Tang to know more about chinese tradisional medicine. Free foots-massage and body checkup from your pulse. Need to be strong minded if not you will spend thousands on their products.

In front of Bao Shu Tang shop...saw this cart full of fruit. Must try the "kam kat" and the cherry tomato. The cherry tomatoes in Malaysia taste more to tomato but the China's cherry tomatoes taste more to cherry rather than tomato...sweet.

Cherry tomatoes...

Kam kat...

Mandarin oranges...

Next...proceed to Tianlu City, a place fill with the Feng Shui philosophy and application. Below was the Feng Shui master...

A nice place for the one who believed in Feng Shui. Pixiu is the main product. Over spending the time over here...

Rushed to the Oriental Pearl Tower (the highest tower in Asia and the 3th in the world at the moment) for the lunch buffet at the Sky Revolving Restaurant up at the tower. It is above 267m. The elevator in the lobby will take you at the speed of 7m per second.

We were late...therefore we need to serve all the food on the table before the food section close at 2pm. Food looked yummy but taste not so good. It was the environment make the buffet expensive. Normal price : RMB250 per person. Anyway, ours already include in the tour package.

The floor rotated too slow and you won't feel it.

After the lunch...moved down for sightseeing. A 360 degree sightseeing glass floor platform, 90m above ground. Horrible for the one who afraid of height.

Then down again for Old Shanghai Wax Museum; which shows the Shanghai history of development vividly.

The interior architecture of the Pearl Tower.

Moved outdoor for group photo session. Saw these type of flowers...looked like cabbage.

Bye bye Shanghai Bund.

Day continues at Nanjing Road, known as "First Street in China". Given less than 1 hour...how to shopping leh??!

The mascot for the up-coming Shanghai's Expo 2010.

Sky getting darker...lights were on.

Steamboat for dinner and then rush ERA Acrobatic Show.

End of the day.
