Step 9 : Day 3 : Hangzhou - Hengdian - Yiwu

Day 3 : Hangzhou - Hengdian - Yiwu

6.30am already received the morning call. 7-8am was breakfast time at the hotel.

Another beautiful day ahead. Leaving the Zijingang-Xigang Hotel to West lake.

At the West Lake garden going to take a smooth cruise around the famous West Lake by exclusive VIP boat.

The VIP boat...not so exclusive lar. It just means the boat not sharing with other visitors.

The below sculpture in the picture is printed on the 1 Yuan China banknote.

A very peaceful journey : Across the old bridge and 2 causeways (Su and Bai Causeway).

Get off from the cruise we passed through the tea garden. Looked like Cameron Highlands.

Saw this Plum Blossoms tree as well. The whole tree!!! Normally in Malaysia, we spotted in branches only.

Then we proceed to Meijiawu, the Dragon Well Tea Plantation where you can pick and taste the most famous green tea in China.

On another side of the tea shop, saw these Chinese ham.
Lunch time at 12pm again... at Hangzhou luxury restaurant; Hangzhou Ou Xiang Ju Restaurant which is famous with Beggar's Chicken and Dongpo pork.
Awards received by the restaurant...
The famous Dongpo Pork...

The famous Beggar's Chicken...not as good as expected.
Like this type of "botak" trees so much which can be seen all along the roadside at Hangzhou. After the lunch, proceed to Hangdian in Dongyang City in the central portion of Zhejiang Province.
Snowing all the way to Hengdian...my first time saw this snowy scenery...

Midway, stopped at the petrol station for loo. All the petrol station in China are in one brand : Sinopec. Caltex, Esso, Mobil...no way to be seen here.

At Hengdian, visited the Hengdian World Studios, often called the "Chinese Hollywood". The studios make use of 13 movie sets in a total area of 330 hectares. All of the locations are open to the public as theme parks. The main attractions : The Palace of Emperor Qin, The Palace of Ming & Qing, Qingmingshanghetu Painting Base and Dreamlike Valley. We just visited the The Palace of Emperor Qin and Dreamlike Valley.
The Palace of Emperor Qin, the movie set for more than 100 famous film such as the Emperor the Assassin, Mummy III, Hero, Storm Riders, and the Promise.

Hengdian was snowing yesterday and today ice can be spotted everywhere.

The view at the Palace of Emperor Qin...

Hit the drum for luck...
Here can fulfill your dream to become the emperor or empress...just a 10 yuan and you can become one.

Hubby and the terracotta...

The palace closed at 5pm, so we moved to Dreamlike Valley /Jiangnan Water Village which is part of the Hengdian World Studios. It is a theme park.

Dinner inside the theme park.
After the dinner, we all waited for the Rainstorm Mountain Torrents Show with great excitement. But disappointed at the end.

The show just offered the chilling view of the disaster.
After the show, joined in the bonfire party. Only two of us join-in from our group. If you don't get involve, you won't know the fun.

The end of the 2nd day's itinerary. Proceed to WHWH Hotel.

Tonight, we were a bit lucky...beside the hotel got mini mart. So we bought some snack for supper.

The China brand of mee cup. Bigger than the one produce in Malaysia.

And also tasted the "Jay Chou" potatoes chips.
