Step 4 : Day1 : Hong Kong Disneyland

Date : 23 Aug 2008 to 30 Aug 2008

Location : Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Macau

Itinerary:

Supposed we had start our itinerary the day before, but there are some changes due to the delayed of "the used to be delayed" Air Asia Flight. The reason of delay was because of the typhoon and delayed further because of no plane for us to fly wor. So "kek sei yan". The flight was scheduled to depart at 6 something in the morning but we managed to arrived at Hong Kong around 9pm, 23 Aug 2008!!!

Day1 : Hong Kong Disneyland

Disneyland, a place must go for me in HK. So eager to go there and had place it on the first day of my itinerary. HK Disneyland is the fifth Disney Kingdom park, which is located in Lantau Island. The park consists of four themed lands similar to other Disneyland parks: (1) Main Street USA, (2) Fantasyland, (3) Adventureland and (4) Tomorrowland.

The first area we entered is the Main Street USA. It is reminiscent of the Victorian period of America with the train station, town square, city hall, firehouse complete with a steam-powered pump engine, emporium, shops, double-decker bus, and other bits of memorabilia.

Later on, we came to the animal kingdom of the "Adventureland". What we seen here was totally different. We seen lots of trees and animals including the Famous Tarzan Island.

The " Festival of the Lion King" Broadway show a must watch 30 minutes show.

Another highlight of the park that must not miss out is the Disney on Parade. A day-time parade with my favourite Disney's Characters:

The Giant Mickey...

The Black and White Mickey and Minnie...

The Chip 'n' Dale...

The Alice in the Wonderfulland...

Meet the Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie as The Toy Story characters ...

The modern Mickey and Minnie with the crazy Gooffy...

The next station was the Fantasyland, which fill with the fairy tales stories.
The Sleeping Beauty Castle as the entrance of the Fantasyland.

Next to the castle, found the Snow White Grotto.

Characters appearance and photo session in Fantasyland.

"It's a small World" is the latest attraction in Fantasyland with a gentle boat ride and gloabal peace feeling.

And finally we reached the Tomorrowland based on the theme of The Future, Space, and Moving Forward.

The Muppet Mobile Lab featuring Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker with their two-wheeled rocket-ship/laboratory vehicle.

We waited for the Disney In the Star, the nightly fireworks performance at 9pm sharp before left the park. The HKD$350.00 entrance fee is worth to pay for it.
