Location : Cameron Highlands
Itinerary:
Still remember...we had planned for the trip a night before and the next morning I couldn't wake up on time. We had planned to start our journey at 4.30am but I just managed to wake up at 5.30am. After some preparation, we headed to the 24hrs Gunung Rapat's Mc'D for breakfast.
We went there before the sun rise just to feel the coolest weather in Cameron.
We reached Brinchang around 7am. All shops still close. So we decided to sleep at the car at the Equatorial Hotel's compound. We opened a bit the car's window and we still felt the cold and fresh air blow inside the car. We slept for 2 hrs and after that we headed to the nearest flower farm. As we walked inside the garden, saw colourful flower blossom beautifully welcoming us.
Then we went further, passed through Tanah Rata and stopped at Bharat Tea Plantation. Looked down to the valley, everything is green. What a beautiful scenery? There is a tea shop at the road side, overlooking the plantation. Have a relaxing time sipping tea and enjoying the view. We had been here few times before, so we decided not to go down to the plantation.
We went to strawberry parks, vegetable farms and cactus gardens along the roadside which connect the 3 major towns; Brinchang, Tanah Rata and Ringlet. The one we will not miss out is the Kea Farm , a big vegetable market garden.
The final destination for this time was Boh Tea Estate at Sungai Palas. By the time we reached the estate, it was start raining. Every where was wet and did spoilt our mood there.
Nothing can be done at outdoor, so we stayed at the tea shop having a cup of nice BOH tea.
Overall expenses $$$ : Less than RM150...what a budget trip!!!
