Day 4 : Ocean Park And The Peak

Already heard about Ocean Park since my childhood from the HK Cantonese Dramas or Films. And now it is time for me to go there but with an adult ticket. Ocean Park here I come lor...

It is a marine-themed amusement part in the Southern District of HK. It comprises of several parks such as:

(1) Headlands Rides
(2) Adventure Land
(3) Marine Land
(4) Lowland Gardens
(5) Whisker's Harbour
(6) Bird Paradise

The main enterance of the Ocean Park. There is another entrance that facing the sea at The Summit (Headland).



The environment - friendly dusbin with interactive sound and movement spotted at Bird Paradise.



"The Dragon" located at the Headland is a steel roller coaster with a maximum speed of 77 km/h with 842 metres of track.



Pacific Pier at Marine land - Sea lions and different species of seals are displayed





Weather so hot... this ice syrup helped a lot but quite expensive too.



Sea Jelly Spectacular at Marine Land - An aquarium built to display jellyfish in different colours due to the effects of some lighting.



The cable car - connecting The Summit (Headland) and The Waterfront (Lowland) which separated by a large mountain.


Funfair games available as well.

Hong Kong Jockey Club Giant Panda Habitat at Lowland Gardens - Home to 4 cute cute pandas; An An (安安), Jia Jia (佳佳), Le Le (樂樂) and Ying Ying (盈盈).



Our last stop was at the Sky Fair at Lowland Gardens before headed to the next destination, The Peak.



The Peak or Victoria Peak, is a must go Hong Kong attraction. Offers the spectacular views over central Hong Kong, VIctoria Harbour and the surrounding islands. The Peak Tram is the trademark of the place and the ride will take you back to Hong Kong in the 19th and 21st century.



Not to miss out is the Madame Tussauds located at The Peak as well. An opportunity to take some photographs with your favaorite celebrities, world leaders, Heroes and Heroiens etc...
