Another hotspot in HK that I had heard about long time ago from the HK dramas is the Wong Tai Sin Temple, the most famous Taoist temple in HK. The place is very easy to reach. Just take the MTR , stop at Wong Tai Sin Station and take the exit B3.
Wong Tai Sin Temple is known for its fortune-telling. The fortune sticks (or lots) in Wong Tai Sin Temple are very accurate. Many people who visit the temple come to have their fortunes told but for me I prefer not to know.
Noon came and we went to Jardine's Crescent for shopping. A good place to shop for my mums' clothes.
Then we went to Times Square, just a walking distance from Jardine's Crescent. Now my turn to shop for my stuff.
Night time we headed to the HK's most popular entertainment district at Cental ; Lan Kwai Fong and Soho. We had experienced the Central-Mid-levels escalators which is the longest outdoor covered escalator system in the world when we going to Soho.
The place is well known area for bars, pubs, clubs and luxury restaurants but we ended up dining at "Tai Pai Tong" at the backstreet. A first time experience at HK's Tai Pai Tong.
This time when back to Kowloon, we plan not to take the MTR but walk to Cental Pier to experienced the Star Ferry, the passenger ferry which is one of the icons of Hong Kong heritage.
Star Ferry was only $1.80 HKD per ride. It's an 8 minute ride across the water between Hong Kong and Kowloon island. The view is beautiful at night.
Another landmark in HK is the Clock Tower located on the southern shore of Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. You can spot the Tower after you walk out from the Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier.
