Woke up at 8am but actually it was only 7 am in Thailand. Forget to set my alarm follow the Thai time zone. Looked out from the window and weather was perfect.
Ready for a yummy dim sum breakfast lor. We planned to have the dim sum recommended by the Motormouth...but the shop closed. So disappointed...
But luckily not far away near the clock tower, we saw a roadside stall selling dim sum too. Not bad...look yummy and reasonable prices. We just spend RM11 a stomach full morning meal.

Siew mai...
This one I like most...
After the breakfast we straight to Wat Phutta Thiwat. The first thing we noticed when we reach there was this beautiful giant Buddha statue.
After the temple visit, we think about food. So we drove-off from the temple to the market.
Fruits looked fresh especially my favourite mango.
Clothes hanging everywhere for sale. Price not cheap as I expected...maybe need an expert for price bargain.
After few minutes walks from the main street to the backstreet, we came to this "tong sui" stall. Variety of "tong sui" for your choices. Must stop to try it out. Only RM1 per bowl.
And also bought some "cha kui" from the near by stall. 4 small short "cha kui" for RM1. Looked cute in short as compare to the Malaysia long "cha kui".
The central market of Betong. Thing you should buy are the Thailand instant noddle or kuey tiow. Cheaper than our maggi mee over Malaysia. RM 16 per box of 30 packets. And also not to forget the Koh Kae peanuts. The one I like most is the wasabi favour which is more expensive than other flavour. Recommend to buy these stuff not inside this market but outside shops on that same street with Central Market.
We backed to the hotel to check-out at 12pm. We still got time to take shower to refresh ourselves before headed to the next destination - Betong Hotspring.
Last drive through the Mongkollit tunnel before headed to the hotspring.
Reached the hotspring. It took more than 30 minutes drive from the town.
Only few locals were at the hotspring and part of the facilities had been vandalized and some had been left unanttended.
In between the way to the tunnel, you can visit Inthason Waterfall. Anyway, this place is out from our itinerary.
