Step 5 : Genting Highlands

Date : 29 March 2009 - 1 April 2009
Location : Genting Highlands

Itinerary:
Day 1 : Chin Swee Caves Temple, Mushroom Garden, First World Plaza and Casinos.

Economy slow down season again...company forced us to take our annual / unpaid leave. Not to waste this annual / unpaid leave, we decide to have a short holiday in Genting together with my Finisar colleagues.

Started our journey with the morning breakfast in Gunung Rapat at 8.30am and reached the peak arond 11.30am. We first drive to the Chin Swee Caves Temple, a taoist temple with the great scenic.

At the Goh Tong Hall, exhibited some antique collection of Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong which most of it comes in giant size.



Checked into The Theme Park Hotel after lunch in the Mushroom Garden and took a short nap before start wandering at The First World Plaza.



All the participants of the trip were here for dinner include JY and wife which were arrived late.



Night time sure for casino time lor.

Day 2 : Genting Theme Park

The next morning, the rest of my colleagues headed to the Bukit Tinggi and back to Ipoh later on while we staying another night in Genting.

Theme park fun for the whole day for two of us.

The Spinner...a whirlwind adventure.



The new Chocolate Wonderland which replaced the Green House.





Spinner...with speed of 67 km/hour.



Corkscrew...not for faint-hearted.



Dinosaurland...way back to the age of dinosaurs,






Teenagers gathered for para-para sakura dance.



Pirate Train...don't waste your time queing for the kid ride.


Row row your boat gentle down the freezing lake.


Changed hotel to the First World Hotel for the night stay. Back to Ipoh the next morning with the heart not willing to go for work the next morning.
