Step 10 : Day 5 : Pattaya

Day 5 : Kho Larn Island, Alcazar Show and Central Festival

Another tired morning again after the late night outing at Walking Street last night. Managed to woke up @ 9am ...opened the window and saw the beautiful day ahead for us.

View from our room's window. Nice resort with the sea view far behind? Yup...looked nice but don't misunderstand. It is the next door's bulding...hehehe...our hotel without all these facilities but had a good view of other people's facilities.

After breakfast at the hotel, took Songtiao to Bali Hai Pier. Fare 40 Baht per person but just stopped us at the junction of the Walking Street and informed it was just 5 mins walks to the pier ...#@&*^*!! ... how can 5 mins reach the pier...need more than 15 mins under the hot sun to reach there.

Reached the Bali Hai Pier. Kho Larn Island, we mali lor....

If you decide to take speed boat, you can buy the ticket from the jetty's building. A bit cosy. If not you can take the slow boat. For us we choose the cheap option. Just walked to the end of the jetty heading the sea for the boat. Fare only 30 baht per person.

This was the boat which already there, waiting for us...

Wow...macho hunks and sexy gals were everywhere...

The boat was packed with people...

We choose the seats at the side facing the sea so that we can stretch out our feet and enjoyed the view.

The journey took about 45 minutes and finally we had reched the Kho Larn Island, a very beautiful island.

Every time a boat reached the jetty, expected hundred of people coming in...

There were 2 beautiful beaches available. One at the left side of the jetty and another one had to walk further in at the right side of the jetty.

We went to the "left" beach first for photographing.

Water was so clear...

Dogs were spotted around to be your best friend..

Seats were available from 30 baht to 100 baht.

Moved another beach...the "right" beach. This second beach was much more longer with lots of food and stalls available along the beach.

Get a good seats for ourselves. 100 Baht for the seat that can bent to sleep.

Right side neighbour...a pretty woman.

Wahhh...the front neighbour.

Relaxed and enjoyed.

Food available everywhere...people walked around selling food...attracting you to get some.
BBQ chicken and prawn were good choices.

And the pure strawberry juice...

Sharing our food with the new best friend.

Slept for 1 and half hours and woke up for another photographing session...

Played with the shadows...

Backed to the jetty @ 3.30pm because the last boat @ 4pm. We seen many people started to pack their things as well.

Back to Soi 1o from Bali Hai Pier with Songtiao. 20Baht per person and safely reached our destination. Nothing to do...so we decided to take our dinner earlier because we going to watch Alcazar show tonight.

Spotted this chinese restaurant the day before...the special was it had been visited by many famous Hong Kong's superstar like Andy Hui and Dicky Cheung. So we in for the dinner...

We just ordered simple dishes...just cost about 340 Baht.

The driver came early to fetch us..around 6.50pm. The show started at 8pm. The "Ah Kuai" show like the Alcazar or Tiffany is a must. One of the main attraction in Pattaya and all the performers are transsexuals.

Our seats @ upper stage...not so good...need to look down.

The show started....from tradisional dance from various countries, artists impersonation, sexy dance, famous song..etc.

Lady Gaga on performance...

After the show, there was a photographing session to pose with your favourite ladyboy. Just100 Baht...

Later on, the driver fetched us to Central Festival, the largest beachfront lifestyle shopping complex in Asia.

Swensens is very famous in Thailand...almost everywhere have this outlet. We had our first Swensens @ the Central Festival.

Our choices...

The sweet taste, sweeten the night for two of us.
