The 4th day...both of us stayed very fresh since we really had a good rest last night. Exciting some more for the next destination "Pattaya".
Woke up 6am to catch a bus to Pattaya. We decided to took only bus. Bought our favourite 7 eleven hotdog again and we headed to the nearest bus stop to take the public bus to Ekkamai Eastern Bus Terminal. Fare only 18 Baht per person.
Traffic so jammed and everyone was rushing for work except us. We just managed to reach Ekkamai Bus station @ 9.00am and lucky to board the 9am bus. Anyway bus to Pattaya available every 30 minutes. Bus fare only 113 Baht per person.
Reached Pattaya at 11.20 am and we stopped at the Air-conditioned Bus Terminal Pattaya-Bangkok. Once you reached, few TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand)'s officer guide were there to help. So we asked for map...and the officer showed us the direction to their office to get it for free.
The TAT office just a minute walks from the bus station. We were given a good and polite services...but be aware!!! They did recommend the accomodation for us which was much more expensive then we search from the net. We asked to check on the availability of the hotel of our own choice but she informed us that all were fully booked and recommended others. Inner side of us felt like not willing to join their package...then we just moved a way with the free map.
Backed to the bus station to take the Songtiao (a tuk-tuk in jeep version) to Soi 10 where our choice of accomodation is located. With Songtiao, normally the driver would wait until all seats were sitted before he moved. Fare 30 baht per person.
Reached Sawadee Sea View Hotel @ Soi 10. Location quiet strategic along Pattaya Beach. We didn't booked for our room earlier because we were looking for a budget hotel. For budget hotel in Pattaya, it is advisable to walk-in yourself to check on the hotel's room and facilities which you can't have a clear view thru the internet. Don't worry with no place to stay...everywhere is hotels. But need to estimate your time wisely.
We went to the nearest tour agency for the Nong Nooch Village package. We need to hurry because the package available in 2 session per day. One at 8.30am and another at 1.30pm. We get the Nong Nooch Village package for 600 baht per person and Alcazar show for tomorrow for 500 Baht per person.
Grabbed the Subway's sandwishes and boarded on the Songtiao provided in the Nong Nooch Village package @ 1.00pm. The driver took us to few more hotels to fetch other visitors with the same package.
After all were on board...the songtiao drove to a remote village and stopped beside the road side and just asked us to wait. What we were waiting for?
Few minutes an air-conditioned bus with a friendly tour guide named Amy came to fetch us. We all were warmly welcomed to Nong Nooch Tropical Garden Village.
Our first stop in the village was the Pottery Display Garden. Not only pottery can be seen but also pet animals.
Only 10 baht to photograph with tiger...dare enough to pay and stick with this big cat?
Then, with the same bus...we routed to Thai Cultural Show house for the 30 minutes cultural show.
After the cultural show, we moved to another theater, an open-air theater for the famous elephant show.
Seen the elephants playing, dancing, drawing, cycling, kicking...etc.
Experienced the excitement feeding the elephant...
and photographing with the elephants with just 70 baht per person.
After the show, we were given another hour to walk around.
Fetched back to the hotel by the same bus. On the way, saw the Pattaya Park Tower, a place where "tower jump" is available. The jumping means jump down from the tower top but with cable hanging and safety protection. Hubby planned to go for it tomorrow but opposed by the faint-hearted me.
So hungry...food time. While on food hunt, saw this piggy...ready to become roasted pork soon...hehehe.
We ordered Tom Yam Kung, Fried Asparagus with Prawn and fried LaLa. Cost : 430 Baht...a bit expensive than in Bangkok.
Strolling along the beach was better.
When the night became more alive... we moved to the Walking Street. A place all about GoGo bars, night clubs, restaurant, music bands, pretty girls...and much more.
An golden opportunity for business and donations as well...since the place is full with people every night.
